Youth Engagement Lead – Yorkshire
This role focuses on leading and delivering high-quality engagement and support for children and young people across our Yorkshire base. You will provide direct 1:1 and group support, oversee youth engagement activity in the region, and work closely with foster carers and the social work team to promote confidence, resilience, independence, and a strong sense of belonging.
As a senior member of the engagement team, you will play a key role in shaping and developing youth-led services, including our Catalyst digital youth club, family events, and independence-skills programmes. The role includes attending and helping lead a two-night residential each year.
Job Description
Lead the delivery of 1:1 and small-group sessions to support young people emotionally, socially, and practically.
Take a lead role in supporting young people’s independence, including delivery and development of the Connect independence-skills programme.
Design, deliver, and continuously improve independence workshops that prepare young people for adulthood.
Lead and support delivery of the Catalyst digital youth club, ensuring young people’s voices remain central.
Provide flexible, reliable support, including evenings and weekends, tailored to young people’s individual needs.
Act as a mentor and role model, supporting young people to set and work towards personal, educational, and future goals.
Maintain accurate and timely record keeping, sharing relevant updates with social workers and foster carers.
Ensure children and young people’s wishes and feelings are heard, recorded, and acted upon.
Lead on planning and delivering family events that strengthen relationships between carers and young people.
Contribute to the organisation and delivery of a two-night residential each year, supporting young people’s confidence and independence.
Work collaboratively with the wider engagement team and social work colleagues to develop youth engagement across Yorkshire.
What We’re Looking For
A creative, energetic, and passionate individual with a genuine commitment to supporting children and young people.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in youth work, children’s social care, or a related field, with confidence working independently.
Strong relationship-building skills with young people, carers, and professionals.
Experience delivering structured sessions, workshops, or group work.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A flexible approach — this is not a 9–5 role. Evening and weekend availability is essential.
A collaborative mindset, with experience working alongside social work or multidisciplinary teams.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable
A relevant qualification in Youth Work, Social Care, or a related field (e.g. Level 3 Diploma in Youth Work Practice or above).
Experience leading or coordinating youth projects or regional programmes.

Form F Assessors
Three Circles Fostering require Form F assessors in the North West and Yorkshire area. A fee of £2250 for each assessment plus 0.40 per mile. If the assessment is completed within 12 weeks and presented to panel the fee increases to £2500 plus mileage.
Successful applicants will have prior experience of undertaking Form F's to a competent and high quality standard. Applicants must be HCPC registered and have indemnity insurance. They also must hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle and be willing to travel to the followings areas in Yorkshire; Barnsley, Leeds, Wakefield, Doncaster, Sheffield, Rotheram, Bradford, Halifax. The following areas in the North West; Liverpool, St Helens, Stoke, Staffordshire, Cheshire, Greater Manchester.
